I cut myself & bled
I cursed aloud and cried real hard
and wished that I was dead
I talked to many doctors
told my story, took the meds
and I spent 34 LONG days
in 5 dfferent hospital beds
I suffer from depression
and I have a low self esteem
But I have learned much since then
I feel like I woke up from a bad dream
I'll never cut myself,
because I know it's not worth it.
And even though I cry sometimes,
I know I'll get through it.
Life is hard, yeah, I agree
but you shouldn't have to die.
I know what it's like, I've been there
So I'm not telling you a lie.

But since, has learned to lie

Life has become a constant war
that she just hasn't yet won
